Oh my gosh, that was so much fun! ...sooooo much fun, in fact, that I am positively giddy with excitement even as I write (or giddy with mild sun-stroke?)! Our best guess is that about 50 people came out to SCUBA KICK-OFF at Bonnie Boats in Jackson's Point. FIFTY! I will have to make a big cake for next year; triple chocolate in Bart's honour. He put his request in first. Must say: You folks are so much fun; THANK-YOU! Divers ROCK! A big thank-you to Chanel (you say it like the perfume, but do you spell it like the perfume?) for watching (and TRAINING) my very energetic she-devil puppy! Gracie! What ARE you doing? Aaaargh! Everyone started to gear up for their first dive of the day. Whew! Such hard work! We are thankful that diving is such a restful sport. Almost ready! It is so refreshing! Bruce from Aqualung was giving Yanet and Brian a drysuit demonstration. A gang went out for their second dive, and they LOVED the drysuits! Jody helped Aleks get into his drysuit. The pair drew a crowd with their antics. LOL! Look Ma! I did it! (and I'm so happy I am NOT at work!) Alexa took the paddleboard out for its first run (she makes it look easy). Who wants to learn how? And Charlotte helped some of the onlookers to give it try. Gracie the "She-Devil Wonder Puppy" gives paddleboarding a try! They made it look so easy. It is NOT that easy. I lack grace, lol! Says it all. We so tired. But happy.
