Aside from the fact that they are pink, and I am a lady who likes her pink, I have NEVER been happier with any other fin I have ever used. My pink Seawing Nova fins feature a bungee strap with a large finger-hold to grab and pull on and off easily. Even on our Aqua Cat adventure last November - where I really got to put them to the test - I was delighted to be able to pull them on and off with ease. My husband Jody has logged hundreds of dives as an instructor over the last (almost) two years with his orange Seawing Nova fins, and his are still going strong, so I feel reassured that mine are going to last me a long time (they are also guaranteed for as long you own them). The Seawing Nova's are by no means the only bungee or spring strap type models of fin that we carry. Ask about the Aqualung spring strap fins; they are hot (and Dana's favourite)! You can see Dana talking about her favourite fins in the Youtube video below; she loves the Aqualung Shot FX scuba fins! Great video Dana! ![]() The Mask Has It! It's not that I favour only Scubapro, but this is my favourite mask. As a new diver when my husband opened the scuba shop (Adventure Sports Newmarket Inc.), this was the mask that reduced my anxiety underwater. Why? It didn't leak. The soft, wide, malleable silicone skirting hugs my face and is comfortable to wear. Period. ![]() The Snorkel It is "nice" to have a dry snorkel that will keep the waves from splashing into the barrel, no question, but it is a matter of preference. If you think that you might feel anxiety at the surface if water is flooding your snorkel, then go for the dry snorkel. Otherwise, any semi-dry will do.
