I am relaxing before the closing ceremonies of our conference in the twin-city of Minneapolis - the city of lakes (though I did not get to dive any of them this week). I've just finished reading Paul Mila's fourth book: "Near Miss", and now I am thoroughly disappointed that it is over, and I only have my PADI Adventures in Diving book to read on my flight home tomorrow. I keep putting it off, so that is probably good. But anyway, NEAR MISS was a lot of fun to read! "Spies, treasure hunters, and Cozumel divers collide in a Caribbean thriller." This adventure story will fill a diver's need for scuba while away from the water (in an I.V. slow drip sort of way, not the full whammy, of course), while at the same time increasing your desire for more diving (Yes. This sport has highly addictive properties; use with care and joy)! If you have read any of Paul's other novels, then you will meet again with Terry and Joe, our favourite Cozumel Dive operators, who find themselves in the middle of a deadly plot of espionage, mystery, and a struggle for national power. The bodies start piling up, and they are running out of time... It's good fun. You can find it on www.amazon.ca See you soon!

I was scrolling through my Google references and came across your blog article about Near Miss. Thanks very much for the great review, and glad that you enjoy my books.
