Relish the convenience of having your gear on board and ready to go at all times - all week! Colorful reefs teeming with marine life sit in depths of 15-80 feet so divers of all levels enjoy the scuba diving offered on this amazing Bahamas scuba diving vacation!
The central Bahamas were once the hideout of pirates and privateers... now these islands offer spectacular diving in warm, crystal clear waters with deserted beaches as backdrop each week during your adventure travel with Adventure Sports Newmarket aboard Blackbeard's Cruises.
You will experience truly virgin diving in the Exumas. For over 30 years, much of the northern Exumas has been a National Underwater Park with no fishing, spearfishing or collecting allowed. Because of these laws there are miles and miles of undersea gardens. The reefs are perfect for snorkeling with gin clear waters and lots of fish.
Many of the dive sites you will visit are frequented by Caribbean Reef Sharks and Nurse Sharks. You can also see Lemon Sharks at the Land and Sea Park. And don't miss out on the shark feed dive usually offered during your vacation.
If you aren’t already a certified scuba diver - no problem! Come into Adventure Sports Newmarket and find out how easy it is to learn!

INDONESIA is an epicenter of biodiversity, hosting a greater variety of marine life than anywhere else on earth. The South China Sea, the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean converge here on the world’s largest archipelago of more than 18,000 islands. Thriving off Indonesia’s coastline are more than 600 coral and 3000 fish species. The scuba diving is nothing short of outstanding. There’s exhilarating drift diving, extensive reef diving, fantastic night diving, unique muck diving and breathtaking steep walls. The top dive areas are Raja Ampat, Komodo and the Banda Sea. East of Bali is Komodo where nutrient rich currents underpin a vibrant ecosystem. Raja Ampat in eastern Indonesia is liveaboard country with waters that boast more than 1200 marine life species. The Banda Sea lies between Komodo and Raja Ampat and has a large variety dives. With more dive sites yet to be discovered, Indonesia has something for divers of all levels.

Tips on Photographing Whale Sharks
A unique experience still in planning, but there will be two locations we will be staying/diving from. The educational component of this experience alone makes it something a little extra special, and certainly unforgettable!
Snorkelling with the gentle Whale sharks and learning about the conservation issues of these beautiful beasts will be indelibly imprinted in your memory (Cancun/Yucatan Peninsula where they migrate for feeding this time of year).
Cenote diving is something of a thrill, and it's just beautiful to behold the geographical formations of the caverns and tunnels.
Night Watch for mama sea-turtles coming in to lay their eggs in the sand; participate in the local sea-turtle conservation efforts and assist in the turtle nursery (Akumal Bay)!
And of course, PLEASURE diving! But, aren't they ALL???
The details are in the planning with Navigator Travel Agency, so stay tuned!

Dive Against Debris
A Scuba Diving Kick-Off & Dive Against Debris Event:
A Free Event! 10:00 am
Location to be Determined.
Again, we will be celebrating the start of another scuba season by hosting a Scuba "Kick-off"!
We have again registered our Clean-up efforts with Project Aware, a growing movement of scuba divers protecting the ocean planet – one dive at a time. We will report the debris we collect for their survey and research purposes; just bring your trash to our debris drop-off area (we will set it up), and we will log the junk and report back to Project Aware.
Aside from the good we do for Mother-Earth, this gives you a chance to get your gear out, make sure it is in good working order, and get your fins wet again...! Instructors and Divemasters are there to help and answer questions.
REMEMBER your Diver Down flag! Our ASN diver boat will be on hand with flag flying to dissuade other boaters from speeding, and we will be reminding them to be watchful of divers and their flags. Please, all of you be watchful too!
Jody always BBQ's some burgers and hotdogs for hungry divers after you've gotten wet, so we promise you won't starve!
Hope to see you there!
