Course Structure: Class and Pool session may or may not be on the same training day, check with your instructor or Adventure Sports Newmarket representative. After that has been completed, you need to do 2 Open Water Dives with a PADI Digital Underwater Instructor to finish the course. Some folks dive with their instructor locally, some join their instructor on a day or weekend trip to an Ontario dive site (such as Tobermory, or Christian Island), and some prefer to complete their open water dives with their instructor on an away trip (such as our Aquacat Bahamas trip, Blackbeards Bahamas trip, Whale shark Yucatan trip, Cozumel, etc). If you choose to go south there are many choices, visit our trip page! Note: Excursion and away trips will incur extra expenses (boat charters, flights, etc). What You Learn Through hands-on training during two scuba dives and guidance from your PADI Professional, you’ll discover:
Get credit! The second dive of this PADI Specialty Diver course may credit as an Adventure Dive toward your Advanced Open Water Diver certification – ask your instructor about earning credit. Equipment Beyond using basic scuba equipment, you’ll need a digital underwater camera and a computer or other device for downloading and viewing your images. We may suggest additional equipment and accessories depending on your camera system.
